Keeping your house spotless seems like a never-ending task. Your busy schedule is one factor why you can’t keep your house clean and organized especially if you have toddlers with toys all over the place.
Is there a way to make cleaning easier and fast? Well, we are going to share some DIY hacks to help you keep your house clean without a sweat.
Unclogging the sink – You don’t have to look any further on what to use to unclog your sink because it’s already in your cupboard. Vinegar and baking soda. This is a powerful duo to help you unclog your sink.
Deodorize the garbage – Stinky garbage cans, diaper pails, dog pee, and cat litter are some of the reasons your house has a foul smell. You don’t want that don’t you? To deodorize, combine the following: baking soda, water, and essential oil of your choice and make a paste out of it. Once the consistency is obtained, pour the mixture into a molder, and wait for it to thoroughly set in. Take one mold and place it in the trash can, diaper pails, or wherever you deem it necessary to put your homemade deodorizer.
Clean the inside of the oven – The oven is one of the most used appliances in the house from baking to broiling. While cooking and baking for your family are enjoyable, cleaning is the most daunting one. To clean the inside of your oven, use a mixture of ammonia, water, dishwashing liquid soap, scrubbing pads, and gloves to do some of the job done. I say some because you must scrub the oven of its gunk with the mixture. Note: turn off the gas before you start cleaning if you have a gas stove and keep the place well ventilated. Never mix ammonia with commercial oven cleaning products or tough cleaning agents.
Cleaning the windows blinds – Regardless of what kind of blinds you have, cleaning them is not only time-consuming but also tedious. Use a vacuum with a dust brush attached to remove the dust in each slat of the blinds. A duster is also useful and helpful in taking care of the grimy blinds.
Soak the dishes – if you find yourself dealing with the annoying task of wiping off the stains and greases that is hard to remove, fret no more. Soak the dishes in hot water with dish soap. The hot water will help loosen up particles whereas the dish soap eases up on hard-to-scrub grimes.
